Synopsis

알비노 새끼 나우페는 알비노가 악마와 악령이라고 생각하는 아프리카 부족에서 태어났다. 그러니까 그의 목숨은 위태로운 것이다.
엄마 비타는 그의 생명을 지키기 위해 그를 숨겨야 한다는 것을 알고 있다. 구르디엔 암소 믈린지가 보호하는 헛간이라면
피난처가 될것이다. 인간 어머니와 마찬가지로 믈린지도 새끼를 보호해준다.
다리가 셋인 송아지 타투와 나우페는 형제로 자랐고, 바깥 마을에서의 생활과는 동떨어져 숨어지내게 된다. 

Naupe, an albino child, born in an African tribe where it is widely believed that albinos are demons and evil spirits.
Therefore, his life is in danger. Vita, his mother, realizes she has to hide him in order to save his life.
She finds a refuge in a barn protected by Mlinzy, a gurdien cow.  Similar to the human mother,Mlinzy also protects her baby. Tatu, a three-legged calf. The baby and the calf grew up as brothers,
hidden and isolated from the village life that takes place outside.
When Naupe grows up, he crosses the border between their tiny world to the village.
The result of his act appellant this relationship and his own identity.

The Wasted Effort

Synopsis

작은 마을, 혼자 사는 아틸라는 길에서 리라를 줍는다. 아틸라는 주운 리라로 빵 한 덩어리를 사서 집으로 돌아와 점심준비를 시작한다.
빵도  점심상에 차리고 식탁에 앉는다.  빵을 반쯤 먹은 후, 그는 조금 쉬기로 한다. 식탁 위 남은 절반의 빵은 하루가 지나고 썩어버린다.
아틸라는 식탁 위 빵이 상한 것을 보고 쓰레기통에 버린다. 그때 시간이 거꾸로 흘러 빵은 밀이 되고 밀은 씨앗이 되며..,
빵이 된 과정을 되감아간다. 무신경한 소비에 대한 죽비 같은 아이디어.  

Attila lives alone in a small town and finds a lira while walking on the road. Attila then uses a lira to buy a loaf of bread from the oven and returns to his home. At his house, he starts to prepare lunch.
He sits down with the lunch he made and the bread he got from the bakery.   After eating half of the bread, he decides to rest a little.
Half of the bread on the table is stale after a day. When Attila sees the bread stale on the table, he throws it in the trash.
After he throws the bread in that trash, time flows backward. All details are shown, from making bread in the oven to planting wheat in the ground.
The farmer spreads wheat on the ground. And then a few wheat grains fall on the side of the road.
At another time, one lira falls on the roadside wheat grains.

순다르반은 인도 사이클론(태풍)의 수도다. 자연적 인위적 원인 모두로부터 위태롭다.
매년 수천 명의 사람들이 노숙자가 되는데 이들은 어디로 가야 할까? 
탈출구가 없다. 살아남아야 한다는 절박한 꿈만이 끊없이 남아있을 뿐. 

Sundarbans is the Cyclone Capital Of India , It is under the threat from both natural and human-made causes.
Every year thousands of people become homeless, but where does one go?  There is no escape. Yet the desperate dream to live relentlessly follows.

Synopsis

세 친구가 있다. 이들은 같은 대학을 다니는 동갑내기들이지만, 우리가 사는 사회에 대해 서로 다른 생각을 갖고 있다.
어느 날 맨홀 구멍 하나를 중심으로 셋은 요상한 하루 아침을 보내게 된다.

There are three friends. They are the same age who go to the same university but they have different ideas about the society we live in.
One day, centered on a manhole, the three of them spend a strange morning.

K2 and the Invisible Footmen

Synopsis

파키스탄과 중국 국경에 위치한 K2는 지구에서 두 번째로 높은 산이다. 한정된 경로, 가파른 경사, 정상도달의 어려움 등으로
많은 등반가들에게 K2는 에베레스트보다 더욱 담대한 도전이 된다.
'야만의 산(Savage Mountain)'이라는 별명답게 K2 봉우리는 주변 봉우리들보다 훨씬 높고 위함하게 돌출돼,
항시적으로 생명을 위협하는 기상 조건 속에서 등반하는 사람들을 더욱 위험하게 한다.
2008년, K2에서 등반가 11명이 목숨을 잃는 비극적 사고가 발생한다. 이들 중 4명은 등반가들의 짐을 운반하기 위해 등반했던 포터들이다. 

Located on the border between Pakistan and China, K2 is the second-highest mountain on Earth.
For many climbers, it is an even greater prize than Everest, with limited routes, a steeper ascent, and a harder push to its summit.
Nicknamed the 'Savage Mountain,' K2's peak is so much higher than the rest of the surrounding range that it juts unprotected into the atmosphere,
regularly exposing climbers to life-threatening weather conditions.
In 2008, a tragic disaster on K2 claimed the lives of 11 mountaineers.  Four of those who lost their lives in the disaster were porters
hired to carry the equipment and provisions of foreign climbing expeditions.
Despite being paid at rates far below those received by international expedition leaders, such porters
– whether they provide critical supplies to expedition base camps or take on higher-altitude tasks in support of ascending climbers –
take on difficult and dangerous work. These efforts make them worthy of recognition as the true heroes of mountaineering. 
In K2 AND THE INVISIBLE FOOTMEN, filmmaker Iara Lee and her team chronicle the lives of those who make possible ascents of the world's
tallest mountains, including both Pakistani porters and Nepalese sherpas.
The film also follows the first official all-Pakistani climbing team, made up of former porters.
This team successfully summited in 2014, on the 60th anniversary of the first ascent of the mountain.
Amid breathtaking scenery, the film depicts the everyday sacrifices of porters and the courage of those indigenous climbers
who choose to return to scale K2 in spite of past tragedies. In their striving to perfect their craft,
these mountaineers provide a fresh look into the cultures and national traditions of Pakistan,
a country typically portrayed in the foreign media as merely a land of conflict and sectarian strife.

Murmaid Dream

Synopsis

제주도 푸른 바다에 인어가 나타났다. 지구 온난화로 밀물과 썰물의 주기가 뒤죽박죽되어 버린 탓에 해안가에 갇혀 버린 것이다.
마을 사람들에게 발각된 인어. 상상 속 이미지와 달리 인어의 모습은 어딘가 이상하다.
마을 이장과 횟집 주인, 정치인, 유튜버, 대학 연구원 등 다섯 남자는 저마다의 꿍꿍이로 인어에게 접근한다. 그녀는 무사히 바다로 돌아갈 수 있을까?

A mermaid appeared in the seaside of Jeju Island. Global warming has disrupted the ebb and flow cycles and they are trapped her on the coast.
A mermaid who was discovered by the villagers. Contrary to the imaginary image, the appearance of the mermaid is somewhat strange.
Five men, including the village headman, the owner of a sushi restaurant, a politician, a YouTuber,
and a university researcher, approach the mermaid with their own tricks. Will she be able to return to the sea safely?
